Tekken 7

A strong entry in the series with polished mechanics and a roster full of iconic characters. The story mode wasn’t the best, but the core gameplay and online matches delivered endlessly. It’s a great modern addition for Tekken fans.

Tekken 7 is the best Tekken game in years. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is super fluid, and the introduction of the Rage Arts and Power Crush moves adds depth. The story mode is cinematic and entertaining, wrapping up the long-running Mishima saga. It’s incredibly polished and balanced, but the online experience can be a bit hit-or-miss with lag. Overall, it’s the most complete Tekken game and has revitalized the franchise in a big way.

After messing up with Tekken 6, I think Tekken 7 was a good step forward.

The problem is the game's servers have been such a mess since launch. I experienced massive lags while playing online. However, the offline play was fun and rewarding.

Although Tekken 7 did many things right, it certainly lost some of the edge which the earlier games had, overall you won't miss much by avoiding Tekken 7!
