The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Oblivion was a huge step up in terms of gameplay when compared to Morrowind. It also has one of the coolest storylines involving the Daedra and portals opening up to the realm of Oblivion. The Shivering Isles expansion was also amazing and one of my favorite DLCs in the Elder Scrolls world.

Oblivion was one of the first Xbox 360 games that I played. Stepping out of the sewer into the open world was mind blowing. I got all the achievements in this one and I hope the remake rumors are true so I can unlock them all again.

I think the more medieval fantasy-oriented setting is one of my favorite things about Oblivion, and it does it better than Skyrim. Not that TES5 is bad, but in this game, I feel like I'm in a familiar and well-developed world. The gameplay was also fun for its time, though it’s a shame it hasn’t aged very well.

Besides that, Oblivion is a game worth revisiting whenever possible, savoring every detail of this wonderful universe.

The definition of a 10/10 game. Oblivion is legendary in so many ways and features a lot more depth and interesting quests than most other Bethesda games. Shivering Isles expansion also goes the extra mile and mixes up the game so well!

Oblivion’s quests felt more personal, with standout storylines like the Dark Brotherhood. Its rich atmosphere and captivating world made every hour spent unforgettable.

Sorry, I gave it a 10. I was trying too find a three digit score, but I only found a 10.

Great balance of combat, exploration and story.
