The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The best open-world game ever made IMO. The perfect map that pushes you towards a goal but lets you go with the flow and venture off the beaten path. Every discovery feels so rewarding; the danger is real (especially at the beginning), and the story (while kinda disjointed) still tugs at the heartstrings.

An absolute masterpiece. Transitioning from the classic Zelda dungeon format to an open-world structure was a bold move, but it paid off. The world feels incredibly alive, with vibrant environments and a sense of discovery. IMO better than Tears of the kingdom given how much it innovated compared to what came before it.

It's only a 9/10 because i prefer Tears of the Kingdom ever so slightly - but truly a genre-defining (and -defying) game that is one of the most fun playing experiences I've ever had.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game I’ll never forget. I remember watching its trailer and being absolutely sure it would be the best game of my life—a feeling that was completely confirmed once I played it. The game is incredible, with a beautifully crafted open world that feels alive and full of surprises, also the gameplay is smooth and intuitive, making every moment enjoyable. What truly stands out, though, is the sense of wonder and discovery as you explore new places, uncovering secrets and immersing yourself in its vast, breathtaking world. It’s an experience that stays with you long after you’ve put the controller down.

I can’t tell you how many hours I lost just running around Hyrule, climbing random mountains because I had to know what was at the top. The freedom to explore is insane—though sometimes I missed the tighter structure of older Zelda games. Still, cooking questionable dishes and accidentally setting myself on fire never got old.

Very fun and innovative open world experience, even for someone who was not overly familiar with previous Zelda games!
