The story and characters are quite charming. Exploring the sky doesn’t feel as engaging as it should, and some areas can feel repetitive. Still, the dungeon design and the origin of the Zelda lore are worth experiencing.

Skyward Sword is a love-it-or-hate-it game. The motion controls were a big gimmick, but the swordplay felt fresh (if you could get it to work). The story is one of the strongest in the series, and the flying mechanic is surprisingly fun. A bit clunky, but still an enjoyable Zelda.
