Another great hit from Telltale.
Telling a thriller story set in one of the best comic worlds ever is a job that only Telltale excels at.
The game never fails to bring up a new big twist!

I wasn't really sure I was into the interactive movie-game genre until I played The Wolf Among Us. Building upon the Fables lore, it follows detective Bigby Wolf as he leaves no stone unturned to solve a fascinating murder mystery. While the branching story is engrossing, the QTE-based gameplay is equally immersive. This is, hands down, the best work from Telltale.

TWAU is hands down one of the best narrative experiences I’ve had. The noir, fairy tale twist? Genius. Bigby’s gruff demeanor paired with the incredible voice acting made him one of my favorite characters. It’s not just about the choices, it’s about the world-building and the way the story pulls you in. Sure, the gameplay is simple, but the story more than makes up for it.

A gripping narrative with great character development, and the noir style really adds to the atmosphere. The choices you make feel impactful, and the world-building is solid. While the story is strong, I felt some of the pacing slowed down in certain chapters.
