The Earth is ruled by heavenly powers that destroy and recreate the world anew every 4000 years, a cycle of death and rebirth that ensures all races get a chance to flourish. Many years ago, four great races dominated the Earth: the wise Danans, the beautiful Mermaids, the proud Reptiles, and the strong Giants. Eventually these ancient beings gave way to the rise of a new race: The Humans.

During the Humans reign the planet has suffered. The air has become choked with smog and the water filthy with pollutants. The Cult of the Rudra has appeared, prophesising the end of the world. As the 4000 year cycle comes to a close, three heroes embark on seemingly seperate quests. will humanity be saved or left in ruin?
