It's probably the most fair and least cheater-infested competitive shooter available. Although it's much simplified compared to CS or Rainbow Six, the simplification reduces toxicity to a large extent.
I enjoy my time playing this game, but similar to all other competitive, it also needs a full-stack to play. Avoid solo-q!
The only thing I don't like about valorant though is the server quality. It's almost impossible to play this game with a ping of over 100, as the advantage would be surprisingly high. This causes players to get locked to their regions, and that's annoying if you are not in a populated region already.

A great mix of tactical gameplay and hero abilities. The gunplay is tight, and the character variety keeps things interesting. The community can be hit or miss, but if you can find a good squad, it’s addicting.

The game alone is amazing, but the cinematic trailers on YouTube are what really drew me in. I really like the game lore the Valorant Team has crafted.

Tense, tactical, and sometimes downright frustrating, but landing a clutch play feels incredible. It’s the kind of game that keeps you coming back for more punishment. I’m nowhere near pro level, but every match feels like a chance to improve or yell at teammates. I swear I was never one of those camping Shotgun players, but I was the first one to go into enemy spawn and check for AFKs lol.

Valorant should definitely be a case study on how to make a first-person shooter the right way. I’ve been playing since launch, and almost five years later, I’m still hooked.
The gunplay, characters, maps, and abilities all just click perfectly. Sure, there are certain guns and agents that perform a bit better than they should, but what really sets this game apart for me is how active and responsive the development team is in addressing these issues.
Another thing I absolutely LOVE about the game is its anti-cheat system. Unlike a certain other game that I won’t name, I never have to worry about running into cheaters in Valorant, which makes for a really enjoyable experience.
Lastly, the e-sports scene is something else. It’s highly competitive, and the game's dynamic nature makes the pro tournaments so exciting to watch.
