DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace has been delisted from all digital platforms, including Steam and Xbox’s online store. Released in the summer of 2022 to go with the DC League of Super-Pets animated movie, DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace was a rail-shooter starring famous superhero animals Krypto the Superdog and Ace the Bat-Hound as they battled to protect Metropolis from the evil Lex Luthor and his army of LexBots.
While the game itself was largely regarded as just another forgettable movie tie-in, many Xbox players noted that DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace had one of the easiest achievement lists around. This means that players could use the game as a quick way to rack up Microsoft Rewards points, especially when it was available on Xbox Game Pass from its launch until September 2023. Unfortunately, those who didn’t get to pick up DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace on the standard Xbox storefront have missed the chance to do so.
Fortnite’s Super Battle Pass Skins Make an Iconic DC Character the Odd One Out
Fortnite's Chapter 6: Season 3 Battle Pass has added a DC character fans have been waiting for, but there is still one skin missing from a full set.
On Friday, June 27, publisher PHL Collective announced that DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace would soon be delisted on Steam (via True Achievements), a warning that would ultimately apply to all digital platforms like the PS Store and Microsoft’s Xbox store. The publisher explained that this is due to the license agreement between it and the online storefronts coming to an end, most likely due to the game being a movie tie-in.
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace Is Delisted
Anyone who purchased DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace on any digital storefront before it was delisted will still be able to play it in their library, but everyone else will have to hunt down a physical copy if they wish to complete its achievements. PHL Collective’s other licensed titles like DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos are still available to buy and download online, so this might just be a case of a movie license expiring years after the film it was meant to promote came and went.
Oddly enough, DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace’s delisting comes right when Krypto is about to make his live-action cinematic debut in James Gunn’s Superman on July 11. The lovable Superdog was also recently added to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, where players can call upon him to help out in battle, as long as they give him his favorite Krypto Treats beforehand.
