News about Dead by Daylight's Castlevania DLC is coming on August 6. In a way, Dead by Daylight has become the go-to game for the most unexpected crossovers that most players did not know they wanted to experience.

While there are many fan requests in terms of upcoming chapters and content, the developers have done their best to not only keep the game fresh, but also in trying to diversify the characters being introduced to the game. The most recent entry to come is Tomb Raider's Lara Croft as a Survivor in Dead by Daylight. As unexpected as it is, it has opened the door for more crossovers to come to the game.

Initially just a rumor that had floated around the community, the Dead by Daylight Castlevania DLC will have more details for fans on August 6 as the teaser video had pointed out. Some old writing alongside a bat figure can be seen in the clip, which has led fans to believe that Dracula is finally coming to the game.

What Are Fans Hoping to See in the Upcoming Castlevania DLC?

While there are no early leads that state whether this upcoming Castlevania chapter will contain both a Survivor and a Killer, fans are already hypothesizing on what content could be included. A collective wish that players have is for a Carmilla skin to be an alternate. Some fans also wished for a new castle map to accompany it, although some have speculated that Dead by Daylight's Decimated Borgo would probably serve that purpose. With how rich the Castlevania lore is, there is so much material and assets that Behaviour could utilize with the upcoming DLC.

Interestingly enough, while the lack of new Castlevania games has fans in an uproar, the franchise has starred in many crossovers similar to this one with Dead by Daylight. Vampire game V Rising recently had a collaboration with Castlevania. Even the game Dead Cells had a prominent Castlevania presence in one huge expansion pack that saw characters like Richter and items such as Holy Water and the Throwing Axe. Perhaps Dead by Daylight could check these ideas to make things more interesting, especially since the introduction of magical items in the Dungeons and Dragons Chapter. For now, fans will have to wait for August 6 for more details.
