Dead by Daylight is one of the longest-running multiplayer horror games out there, and it's showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The year 10 Dead by Daylight roadmap teases even more Chapters and Rifts, bringing both original and licensed characters into the Fog over the coming months.
It'll be hard to follow up on the Tokyo Ghoul and Five Nights at Freddy's Chapters, but the Dead by Daylight team has even more collabs planned alongside new maps, events, and original characters. The 2v8 game mode will continue to expand throughout year 10 as well, and new quality of life changes will be sprinkled in among major updates.
Dead By Daylight: Every Survivor, Ranked
Each one of Dead by Daylight's Survivors has unique Perks that give them an edge against the Killers, but some are better than others.
Dead by Daylight Year 10 Roadmap Schedule
The Dead by Daylight year 10 roadmap details all of the content coming to the game from June 2025 through April 2026. A big celebration is slated for the game's 10th anniversary next summer, but that information has been conveniently omitted from this roadmap.
Five Nights at Freddy's Chapter
The roadmap begins with a licensed Chapter in June 2025, which is the Five Nights at Freddy's collab that added Springtrap and Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria to the game. An in-game event is also scheduled for June 2025, and that'll be the Twisted Masquerade anniversary celebration.
Rumored Walking Dead Chapter
In July 2025, another licensed Chapter is slated for release. This one only has two new survivors, though. The highlighted letters on the roadmap spell out "THE ONES WHO LIVE," which basically confirms that it'll be a Walking Dead Chapter. The survivors are rumored to be Rick and Michonne as they star in The Ones Who Live series.
Future Chapters
After that, the roadmap teases an original Chapter with one killer and one survivor for September 2025, a big licensed Chapter with two survivors and a new killer in November 2025, and another original Chapter in March 2026 with a new realm and a new survivor. New Rifts will be released in between Chapters as well, with additional rewards to unlock. It's hard to tell what licensed Chapter the Dead by Daylight devs are working on for November 2025, but with a new killer and two new survivors, it'll certainly be a big one. Some leaks point to yet another Resident Evil crossover, but nothing is confirmed just yet.
Upcoming Events and 2v8
New events and modifiers will be regularly released during year 10 of Dead by Daylight on top of everything else. 2v8 returns in August and November 2025 with new killers, and the usual holiday events like Haunted by Daylight will run at their usual times. Dead by Daylight's 10th anniversary is a significant question mark for this roadmap, but Behaviour Interactive likely wants to save that reveal for early 2026.
