The C1 South Distribution Center is a facility in Death Stranding 2 that players will visit as part of Main Order No. 004. As is the case with all the game's facilities, players can increase their Connection Levels with the C1 South Distribution Center, and there are a variety of rewards associated with doing so. This guide is here to detail those rewards, and it will help players decide if they should be pursuing a 5-star rating with the C1 South Distribution Center in Death Stranding 2.
Players will earn Bandwidth, which will allow them to build more structures in Mexico, and additional materials at two, three, four, and five stars. Furthermore, players who have unlocked APAS Enhancement in Death Stranding 2 will receive some APAS Memory at those Connection Levels. While these rewards may not be as exciting as those that are detailed below, they are useful nonetheless.

C1 South Distribution Center Star Rewards in Death Stranding 2
1 Star
Players will earn one star with the C1 South Distribution Center, and bring the facility into the chiral network, when they complete Order No. 4 in Death Stranding 2. Players will unlock the following at that time:
- Blood Grenade Lv1: These weapons are useful against BTs, and players will get a chance to try them out not long after connecting the C1 South Distribution Center.
- Timefall Shelter: This structure can be established by deploying a PCC, and it provides protection from timefall. Additionally, Timefall Shelters repair cargo containers, refill Sam's canteen, and drive BTs away.
2 Stars
At two stars, players will unlock EX Grenades, weapons that release "a cloud of anti-BT vapor" that repels gazers and hunters. Additionally, a direct hit from this grenade causes catchers to move more slowly, and its vapor can even temporarily stun human enemies.
3 Stars
Upon reaching three stars, players will unlock Blood Grenade Lv2. As players are likely to expect, this is an improved version of the Blood Grenade Lv1 they unlocked for completing Main Order No. 004, and they will find that it deals more damage to BTs.
4 Stars
Players will unlock Assault Rifle [MP] Lv2 when they hit four stars with the C1 South Distribution Center. Once again, this is an enhanced version of a weapon that players will already be familiar with, and it has the following improvements:
- Higher rate of fire.
- Greater ammo capacity and larger clip size.
- Dot sight.
- An MP shell grenade launcher.
The MP bullets that this weapon fires will not be effective against BTs until the player has completed Main Order No. 005.
5 Stars
Reaching the maximum Connection Level with this facility unlocks two items: Hologram Data: Benjamin Rivera, which can be used to decorate structures, and Patch 25: Smile, which can be attached to Sam's backpack in Death Stranding 2. Notably, these unlocks are purely cosmetic, and players who only care about earning items that improve Sam's abilities may thus want to stop after getting to four stars.
