The development team behind the tactical FPS Delta Force has issued some serious consequences for cheaters, with over 1,400 players now banned from the game for 10 years. The free-to-play title has continued to amass players since its full PC launch in January 2025, and TiMi J3 Studio is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for Delta Force players with a zero-tolerance policy towards rule-breakers.

Following a successful open-beta period in December 2024, Delta Force fully launched for PC in January, with the title scheduled to be released for mobile devices in April 2025 and for consoles at some point this year. TiMi J3 Studio also developed Call of Duty: Mobile, a massively successful title pulling in over $480 million in its first year on the market in 2019. Delta Force features a roster of different operators, all of whom bring unique abilities and gadgets to the battlefield, and while many players are having a great time with the first-person tactical shooter, others are continuously bringing toxicity to the game in the form of cheats and inappropriate behavior.

Delta Force: Ranked Mode, Explained

Playing Ranked mode is a great way to push your limits in Delta Force, but it might not work the way you think it does.

According to a new post on the game's official website, the Delta Force security team took action against 1,446 players from March 14 until March 20, banning many from the game for a decade. The developers blocked 694 devices, handed out 365 DMA bans, and successfully stopped 13,475 cheating attempts in real-time, with 4,044 players forced offline for engaging in rule-breaking. Players are encouraged to report cheaters as quickly as possible, either inside or outside the game, using the appropriate channels. Cheating remains a problem across many popular multiplayer titles, with Marvel Rivals players speaking out against cheaters in the game's Ranked matches.

Delta Force Developers Ban Over 1,400 Players for 10 Years

As the game is largely inspired by the 2001 film Black Hawk Down and the 2003 NovaLogic game Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, a Black Hawk Down DLC was added to Delta Force for free in February 2025 following a brief delay. Consisting of seven distinct stages, the campaign was designed exclusively for co-op, with those opting for a solo challenge facing some incredibly difficult gameplay.

Delta Force is one of many popular large-scale multiplayer games released in recent years, with a whopping 64 players able to jump into the action at once. In September 2024, EA confirmed that 64-player maps would be returning in the next Battlefield title, while Specialists would not be featured in the as-of-now unannounced game.
