Toby Fox shared a bunch of updates regarding Deltarune throughout 2024, especially about the game's third and fourth chapters. Toby Fox wants to release Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 simultaneously, and though they are in a "playable" state, he notes that it's still a long way away, looking for it to also be released across all platforms on the same date. Many astute fans were curious about this specific time period, as Noelle, an integral character of Deltarune Chapter 2 and especially the Snowgrave route, has a very prominent Christmas motif. Many fans suspect that the newsletter will be themed around Noelle in some sort of way, even if it's relatively minor, though some are also theorycrafting the possible significance of Fox choosing to release it within an appropriate time period.
