Chapter 3 of Deltarune takes a unique turn, distinguishing itself from previous chapters by focusing on a series of eccentric, awesome minigames. One of the three main minigames in this chapter is the Cooking Show. It’s a little chaotic but rewarding rhythm-action style game where you play as Kris, Susie, and Ralsei in chef costumes. This guide breaks down how to play the Cooking Show minigame and get a T-rank in Deltarune Chapter 3.

Deltarune Cooking Show Minigame, Explained

In the Cooking Show minigame, your goal is to catch falling food items on Kris's head. You can stack multiple items on Kris before throwing them. Once you have a stack of food, you need to throw it to customers who walk across the screen.

Keep an eye out for "VIP" or "special" customers. They give you a lot more points and are the key to getting a high score. It's smart to save up a tall stack of food for when these special people pop up. These customers will disappear after a certain time, so make sure to hurry up.

Susie tends to burn the food, causing flames to constantly run across the table. You need to jump over these flames to avoid taking damage. Just be careful, though, since a tall stack of food on Kris's head will make your jumps less responsive. This will make it harder to dodge the fire.

Your performance in the cooking minigame contributes to your overall score for the round. Achieving a high rank (especially an S-rank or T-rank) in this and other minigames can unlock secrets and bonus content later in Chapter 3.

How To Get T-Rank in Cooking Show Minigame in Chapter 3 Deltarune

To get a T-Rank in Deltarune's Cooking Show minigame, you need to score around 700 points. The most consistent way to get a T-Rank in the cooking minigame is to exclusively serve "special guests" (VIP customers) and stack a lot of food for them.

Focus on stacking as much food as possible on Kris's head. The more food you deliver to a special guest, the more points you'll receive. Just be careful to jump over Susie's fires. If you get hit, your stack will be broken, and you'll become less efficient.

If you feel like it’s getting too much, serve the food to the regular customers. Then keep stacking again and feed only special guests until the minigame ends.
