Deltarune Chapter 2: How to Find Secret Boss
Just like in the first chapter, players can find a secret difficult boss in Deltarune Chapter 2 if they're willing to take the steps required.
How to Find the Key Hidden Under Dinner Plates in Dining Room (Chapter 2)
In the Dining Room of the Queen's Mansion in Deltarune, the key to progress is hidden under one of the dinner plates. Start by clicking on a few platters at random. After a short while, the Queen will shuffle the room layout. Repeat this process once more.
After the second reshuffle, take a careful look around. You need to look for a small white creature hiding beneath one of the trays. It looks noticeably closer to the floor than the others and will scurry away if you get too close.
Interact with the lower platter to reveal the creature, which will then carry the party on a table. The next thing you need to do is to steer the table to destroy the room. The key will be revealed during this process. Once you have the key, move west to the next area of the Mansion.
In this next room, you'll need to dodge the pottery on wheels, all while being chased by Swatchlings. There are quite a few of them patrolling, so take your time and use the alcoves to duck out of the way as you continue your journey west.
As you move into the next room, you’ll need to dodge a moving, fire-breathing painting on either side of a huge statue of the Queen dominating the center. Once past it, head north to reach the next area.
In this room, Berdly will greet you, then whisk Susie away through a hidden bookshelf passage leading to the roof. For now, it's just Kris and Ralsei. Take a moment to save your game near the door you just came through.
As you move into the next area of the Mansion, you’ll face a classic Dark World challenge: a river of acid. Look for a lever nearby and pull it to call a swan boat. It will take you on a ride through the river of acid, and you’ll soon come across the Acid Room Mouse puzzle.
