How To Get Jingle Blade in Deltarune
The Jingle Blade is a Dark World weapon you can obtain early in Chapter 4 of Deltarune. It’s a transformed version of the Holiday Pencil from the Light World. Once you have the pencil, it will automatically become the Jingle Blade when you enter a Dark World. This makes it particularly special, as it can be equipped by both Kris and Noelle if she joins your party.
When equipped, the Jingle Blade provides a solid boost to your stats, offering +7 Attack (AT) and +1 Defense (DF). It also grants the "Festive" ability, which has various effects that can help you in battle. It is by far the best weapon for Kris, right after the Black Shard.
Getting the Black Shard requires defeating the Roaring Knight, a highly challenging boss fight. Due to the Knight’s extreme difficulty, getting the Black Shard is no easy task. As such, the Jingle Blade is the next best alternative, offering solid stats and accessibility without the intense battle.
Where to Find Holiday Pencil in Deltarune?
At the start of Chapter 4, Kris and Susie visit Noelle’s house to look for clues. While exploring, go into Noelle’s room and interact with the desk on the right side. This is where you’ll find the Holiday Pencil. Make sure to grab it before progressing too far in the house, or you’ll lose access to it.
At the time of writing, finding the Holiday Pencil is your only opportunity to get the Jingle Blade. After a certain point during your visit to Noelle’s house, you will lose control of Kris. Once this happens, you can no longer interact with objects or pick up the pencil. This makes it easy to miss the weapon entirely if you're not careful.
