Deltarune Chapter 2 Annoying Mouse Room Puzzle #1

In the Annoying Mouse Room 1, there is a green panel in the middle of the room, and a button that releases mice. The goal of this puzzle is to get all the mice into the hole labeled "in." The trick here is to arrange the green squares correctly so that when the mice touch them, they are in a way redirected to their mousehole.

Even though it’s relatively simple, here are the steps to solve the first Annoying Mouse Room puzzle in Deltarune:

  • Move to the left side of the green panel in front of the “in” hole.
  • Push the panel down (towards the bottom of the screen, where the "annoying mouse room" sign is).
  • Then, push the panel right (towards Noelle's side) until it's flush against the right wall. This creates a clear, straight path for the mice to go directly into the "in" hole.
  • Once the panel is in position, press the button to release the mice. They should all go into the hole.

After the mice are in the hole, the forcefield blocking your path will disappear, and you can continue your journey with Noelle.

Deltarune Chapter 2 Annoying Mouse Room Puzzle #2

The Annoying Mouse Room 2 introduces more complexity with three consoles that rotate different sections of blocks. You'll see three circular platforms, each with a console that rotates a segment of the overall path. The goal is simple: you need to guide the mice into their designated hole by rotating the pathways.

Here’s the simplest solution to this puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 2:

  • First, walk up to the leftmost console and rotate it right eight times. This should position a red block in the top middle of its section, another red block on the left side of the third row, and a final red block in the bottom right of the fourth row.
  • Then, interact with the console in the middle and rotate it right five times. A red block should now be on top on the right, and a green tile will be on the bottom.
  • Next, interact with the rightmost console and rotate it left two times. One green tile should be on the top right, and the other will be on the middle.
  • Once the path is correctly aligned, release the mice. They will successfully enter the hole.

Even after the mice go in, the forcefield will remain. You need to release more mice in the solved puzzle a second time after Noelle has walked over to check out the control panel. This will cause Noelle to be launched over the panel, which in turn deactivates the forcefield.

Deltarune Chapter 2 Annoying Mouse Room Puzzle #3

The Annoying Mouse Room 3 puzzle is less about precise block arrangement and more about a humorous interaction with Noelle. You'll see two platforms with Noelle standing on one, and a button to release mice. The panels will rotate, influencing where the mice go.

The goal here is to make the mice hit Noelle repeatedly to spell out a hidden phrase. So, there isn't a specific "solution" for the rotations here. You need to continuously rotate the panels and release mice in a way that causes them to hit Noelle.

When hit, Noelle will "ping-pong" between the two platforms. As the mice hit Noelle, letters will appear above the platforms. You'll eventually spell out the phrase "ILOVEMOUSE." The puzzle will end when "ILOVEMOUSE" is fully spelled out. There's no additional action needed after the phrase appears.

Don’t worry if you take too long and Noelle falls. There’s no penalty for it, and the hidden phrase will continue to spell out, allowing you to proceed and make your way to Deltarune Chapter 3.
