Deltarune Chapter 2: How to Find Secret Boss

Just like in the first chapter, players can find a secret difficult boss in Deltarune Chapter 2 if they're willing to take the steps required.

Deltarune Chapter 2 Word Puzzle #1

You’ll come across your very first word puzzle near the Cyberpedia book in the eastern areas of the Cyber City. To solve word puzzles in Deltarune Chapter 2, you'll need to spell out a specific word by stepping on letter tiles.

You can step on letters multiple times if necessary. Just be careful not to overstep, as this may force you to restart the puzzle.

The answer to the first word puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 2 is APPLE. Here’s how you can solve it:

  • Step on the A and then the P on the top row of buttons.
  • Move down to the second row and step on the next P.
  • Hit the L tile.
  • Finally, return to the top row and step on the E to complete the word.

After successfully solving the puzzle, the forcefield will disappear. In the next area, a character named Nubert will have a treasure chest for you to open. Inside, you'll find the FiberScarf weapon. This item is exclusive to Ralsei and offers a slight upgrade over the Ragger, providing +2 Attack and +2 Magic.

You’ll come across the second word puzzle when you’re on the hunt to find the Blue Checkmarks. The goal for this puzzle in Deltarune is to spell out "AGREE2ALL" as shown on the screen above the puzzle. Here's the path to take:

  • Start by stepping on the A button.
  • Move up to the top row and hit G.
  • Go back down a row to get R and then E. For the double "E," step off the E tile and then back on it.
  • Next, grab the 2 on the row below.
  • Finally, spell out ALL on the bottom row, remembering to hit the L tile twice.
Deltarune Chapter 2 Word Puzzle #2 Solution

After you've successfully spelled the code, the Queen will appear. She'll thank you for agreeing to the Peon Release Form and humorously inform you that you now have to do what she says, and she can even use your likeness for funny statues.

Once that's done, exit to the west. The forcefield that was blocking your path to the north will now be gone.

Deltarune Chapter 2 Word Puzzle #3

A short while after you complete the second puzzle, you’ll find yourself in front of three teacup rides. Take the first teacup ride to find the third word puzzle in Chapter 2.

Your objective for this puzzle is to spell out "GIASFELFEBREHBER". Follow this sequence of steps on the letter tile:

  • Begin on the G tile.
  • Walk down the first column to hit I, A, and then S.
  • Move across to the F tile and then walk upwards to get E.
  • In the next column, walk downwards to grab L and then F.
  • Walk east to pick up E, B, and R.
  • Head up one tile to grab the next E.
  • Turn to the right to pick up H and then walk downwards for B.
  • Finish the puzzle by hitting E and then R in the column to the left.

When you successfully complete this puzzle, you’ll win another blue checkmark.
