How to Get the Egg In Deltarune Chapter 3

Secret Door in Deltarune

You must complete a series of specific actions to obtain the Egg, which requires a considerable amount of time. First, you need to head to the room full of TVs called TV World. Be careful, as it has lots of enemies, especially Shadowguy. Complete all the quizzes on the TVs to unlock a secret door, which leads you to the next puzzle.

Complete The Block Minigame

You will enter a minigame where you must throw blocks across a river, which you must complete to progress. Choose Susie and throw the block over the river, through the gap in the bushes. This successfully completes the puzzle, and you are ready to proceed to the next area.

Next, head to the Green Room door and proceed on through. You will find a sneaky section further into the room, where you’ll be stopped by an NPC. He will ask you “You’s a cheater, ain’t ya?” You will need to select the “Cheater” option from the choices. Then, he will ask, “Where you headed?” You’ll have to select “Nowhere” from the options.

The NPC will respond to your choice by saying “You’s was already heading that way. Weren’t ya, Kris?” And will then take you to Nowhere. You’ll have to play a minigame again, which is connected to the earlier minigame.

You will find yourself on the other side of the river. Grab the block you previously threw and place it on the pedestal to create a bridge. Then, you can safely cross the bridge and press the red button on the other side of the river.

Talk To The NPC In Front Of The Screen

By doing this, you will exit the minigame and open up a passage, through which you can go to another NPC in front of a big screen. Talk to him on the screen many times. Most of the time, he will ask you, “What? You can’t find the ticket?” Or “Where could this be?” But, after talking to him over and over again, a wardrobe will appear, and he’ll tell you that the trip ticket is in the wardrobe. Grab the trip ticket and proceed to the next step.

You will need to return to the Green Room and then proceed to the warp door leading to Goulden Sam. You will find a few dumpsters in the room. Check out the dumpster with its lids closed, and you’ll find a Ribbick in there.

Players who have already claimed the Shadow Mantle cannot earn the Trip Ticket in this way, as the screens will be turned off. Speaking with Bibliox near the turned-off screens will reveal that the ticket is now under the ball machine, which can be found beyond the B-rank prize door that is accessed via the TV Time Green Room. After reaching that room, players should insert 1,225 points into the machine that is next to the ball machine and then enter the ball machine. Players should then head down and to the right in the red maze, interact with the small ball machine that they find, and interact with the sparkle on the ground in the B-rank room to claim the Trip Ticket.

Interact With The Ribbick

Start a battle with the Ribbick and go to the Act menu. Y ou will find an ‘X’ mark after the names of the Ribbicks. Don’t press it, instead hold the left arrow key. It will take you to another area.

You will be transported to Forgotten Isle, where you can find a large tree after exploring for a bit. Go behind the tree and talk to the NPC there. You will trigger a dialogue starting with “Spring changes to summer, and summer changed to cold.” You have to make the following choices to get the Egg:

Final Tree For Egg in Deltarune

You can keep the Egg you get from Deltarune Chapter 3 on the desk in Berdley’s classroom. Like the Eggs you got in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, it does not grant any known special effects. You can use the Egg any time after obtaining it and before starting Chapter 4. It just stays in your inventory until the end of Chapter 3, and disappears in Chapter 4.
