How to Solve the Car Puzzle in Deltarune

To solve the car puzzle, you will first need to find the stoplights that are scattered around the puzzle area. You can stop cars by pressing the red stop button, which allows you to cross the road safely.

Press The Stoplight

However, you will have to watch out for the countdown, since the cars will start moving again after the count reaches zero. First, you will see a stoplight before crossing the highway. Press it to stop the red cars.

If you accidentally stop cars in a pattern that makes it difficult for you to cross the highway, simply go back to the stop button. Then deactivate it and re-activate it again.

Run Up And Press The Two Stoplights

You can safely run up and to the right to reach a walkway with two stop switches. The stop switch on the right side stops the yellow cars and the one on the left stops the red cars. Then, go down the highway where the red cars are stopped.

Go Down The Road With Yellow Cars

At the end of the road, go to the left, and you will find the road with yellow cars. These yellow cars will remain stopped, as you pressed their stop switch earlier. Shortly after you begin the road, you will find a path leading to the left.

Go to the leftmost end of the path, and you’ll see a glowing sign. You have to interact with this sign to get to a secret room.

Rewards For Solving the Car Puzzle in Deltarune

You will enter a secret room after you successfully solve the car puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 2. In this room, you will find a red tree with a man behind it. Speak with the man, and you will get the secret Egg in Deltarune Chapter 2.

The Egg is a decorative item that you can put into the basket in Sans' shop in the Light World. Solving the car puzzle is also important if you want to get to the Queen’s Mansion to progress the story.
