Swordsmith Village wastes no time in getting the action going after a few episodes detailing the history of Sun Breathing's first user and the blade he wielded. Both Gyokko and Hantengu are intimidating figures who push the demon slayers to their very limit.
After awakening his demon slayer mark, Muichiro shows a dazzling display of Mist Breathing at its finest as he beheads Gyokko in a solo battle. Meanwhile, the other demon slayers push themselves to the very limit against Hantengu's many personalities before eventually taking him out as the sun rises, with Nezuko's immunity to the sun marking a beautiful end to this amazing arc.
