It is almost impossible that Demon Slayer will be beaten at box office numbers.
Demon Slayer has dominated the movie industry to such a level that both its movies, Infinity Castle, and Mugen Train are Japan’s number 1 and number 2. It is also a far bigger franchise than The Apothecary Diaries. Even humongous series like One Piece or Dragon Ball don’t seem to be able to dethrone it, movie-wise, and The Apothecary Diaries probably won’t either. The Apothecary Diaries can still win in ratings, as Chainsaw Man Reze Arc has beaten Demon Slayer recently.
