The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Movie has been highly anticipated by fans all around the world. This movie just came out in Japan on July 18th, and it’s already been a huge hit, breaking previous records held by the Mugen Train movie. This movie could definitely be on the road to becoming Japan’s biggest box office hit ever.
Fans can’t wait for this movie to drop internationally, but this could take a while, depending on the country. For North America, this movie will come out in September, which means the wait is quite long.

Shinobu Died in Her Fight Against Doma
The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Movie was quite an intense ride for the fans. This movie, spanning over two and a half hours, was filled with incredible action. The movie featured many huge battles, from Akaza vs Tanjiro and Giyu, Zenitsu vs Kaigaku, and of course, Shinobu vs Doma.
All these battles had casualties. Akaza, at the end of his battle, decided to take his own life. Kaigaku, meanwhile, was killed by Zenitsu. But, the most tragic death in this movie was, undoubtedly, that of Shinobu.

Shinobu is the insect Hashira, and has a history with Doma, since she was the one who killed her older sister, Kanae. Shinobu still fought amazingly, despite her eventual defeat and death. On her own, she never truly stood a chance. None of the top three Upper Rank Moons could be defeated in a one-versus-one battle.
There is more to come from Doma, however, but fans will have to wait until 2027, when the second movie drops.

The Demon Slayer manga concluded long ago, in 2020 to be specific. The story is rather short compared to most other series, and only spans over 205 chapters. Fans of the series who don't want to wait for the movies to drop can check the manga out on Manga Plus.
Meanwhile, for the anime, the series currently has 4 anime seasons. These anime seasons can all be found on Crunchyroll. The rest of the series will be animated into movies, for which fans will have to wait for a theatrical release. The release date, in this case, depends on their country.
