More Backstories Are in Store
Inosuke And Other Characters Will Have Their Pasts Revealed
One thing that some fans don’t like but should still look forward to in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 is the backstories. Many new backstories will be revealed. Some of these will be for Demon Slayers, such as Inosuke, but some others will be for Demons, like Kokushibo. These backstories will be incredible, and they will serve to add depth to the characters and their motivations.
Kokushibo’s Battle Begins
Kokushibo Will Fight Gyomei, Sanemi, Genya, and Muichiro
The most anticipated battle of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2, for most fans at least, is undoubtedly that of Kokushibo, the Upper Rank One vs the Demon Slayers. This battle will be the most brutal so far and will see Kokushibo take on a team made up of Gyomei, Sanemi, Genya, and Muichiro. Kokushibo will showcase why he’s the strongest demon after Muzan in this fight and gain a ton of fans in the process.
Doma’s Battle Continues
Kanao and Inosuke Continue Where Shinobu Left Off
Doma’s battle was the first to take place in the first movie. Doma, the Upper Rank Two, came face to face with one of the Hashira, Shinobu. Shinobu fought well, but one Hashira is no match for a demon of Doma’s caliber.
Her battle will be continued by Kanao and Inosuke, who will finally take him down once and for all.
Nakime Causes Trouble
Mitsuri and Obanai Try to Face Off Against Her
Nakime is a new Upper Rank, specifically the Upper Rank Four. Nakime might be the most dangerous demon after Muzan since she controls the Infinity Castle. Killing her won’t be an easy task, as even getting close to her is a challenge. However, Mitsuri and Obanai will try their best against her and distract her while Yushiro sneaks up on her to finish the job.

As many fans know by now, the Infinity Castle is the Blood Demon Art of a powerful demon, the new Upper Rank 4 Demon, Nakime. For the Infinity Castle to crumble, she has to be defeated, which she will be in the second movie.
Muzan himself will kill Nakime after she is compromised, and that will lead to the destruction of the Infinity Castle. This will lead the Demon Slayer into the final battle against Muzan as he can now be exposed to the sun.
More Deaths Are Coming for the Demon Slayers
Muichiro and Genya Will Be Among The Casualties
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 was already a huge heartbreak for fans. After all, Shinobu Kocho, the insect Hashira and one of the most beloved characters of the series, was brutally killed. However, it’s only going to get worse from here on out as the story advances into the second movie. More casualties are coming, and the major ones will include the Mist Hashira Muichiro, but also Genya, Sanemi’s brother. Both will fall against the brutal Upper Rank 1.
