The Entire Anime Will Have a Rerun On Select Japanese TV Channels
Demon Slayer fans are always looking forward to more content concerning their favorite series. As far as the TV anime goes, the Demon Slayer anime has ended for the time being. The studio has instead decided to adapt the last stretch of the story in the form of a trilogy of films. Of course, there is still a chance that these movies will be remade as TV anime seasons, but for now, nothing has been confirmed. Until then, fans can enjoy a spectacular rerun of the anime on TV. Recently, it was revealed by the official Demon Slayer X account that the series will be officially rerun on many Japanese TV channels, notably the likes of Fuji TV. This exciting new run is starting on April 5th, 2026.
With this return to TV, Demon Slayer fans can enjoy every single anime episode that aired between Season 1 and Season 4 to the absolute fullest. Naturally, this run will take a while to finish. With all four seasons, Demon Slayer features a total of 63 episodes which would take 63 weeks to completely air, given that TV anime air on a weekly basis. Based on the current schedule, Demon Slayer’s TV anime will air until July 2027, at the very least, assuming the anime does not take any breaks between this TV scheduling.
