Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2 is a Raid-exclusive currency that will allow players to purchase red borders of Raid-specific weapons, and grab Raid-specific Exotic weapons from past Raids that have since been sunset. Players can have a total of 240 Spoils of Conquest at a time, but obtaining them is going to be where the real challenge lies.
Destiny 2: Best Raid Exotics, Ranked
Destiny 2's best exotics come through as rewards within their challenging raids.
With each source of Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2 providing players with x5 of the currency, players are going to need to grind and farm if they want to afford their next red border weapon, or an actual Raid Exotic that they can show off to their fellow Guardians.
All Ways to Get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2
Spoils of Conquest can only be obtained through Raids. Spoils of Conquest are rewarded to players who open Secret Chests in specific Raids, and to players who, on the same class, repeat a second completion of a Raid Encounter in non-featured weekly Raids. The easiest way to get Spoils of Conquest is to open Secret Chests in Raids, as each Secret Chest grants 5 Spoils of Conquest, once a week for all three characters. This means players can grab a Secret Chest checkpoint and open it for their characters to receive an easy 15 Spoils of Conquest per week, to a maximum of 180 Spoils of Conquest a week.
The easiest way to achieve this without a Fireteam is through the Traveler's Chosen website, which will provide players with Checkpoint Bots on Twitch.tv where players can follow the associated Twitch channel and enter !queue [raid] [encounter] [difficulty] [Bungie Name #xxxx] to be placed into a queue where the Checkpoint Bot provides players with the checkpoint they need for the secret chest. Listed below is a useful table for players to use so they know which Raid provides Spoils of Conquest for repeating encounters and opening Secret Chests:

What to Spend Spoils of Conquest on in Destiny 2
Spoils of Conquest are used to activate Deepsight Harmonizers on Raid Weapons that do not have their Patterns unlocked so that players can craft them at the Enclave. Spoils of Conquest can also be used to purchase Exotics from the Monument to Lost Light for a total of 240 Spoils of Conquest. Listed below are every Exotic that the player can purchase for Spoils, and whether or not they are worth buying:
|
Exotic Name |
Exotic Type |
Is it Worth it? |
|---|---|---|
|
Legend of Acrius |
Arc Shotgun |
Yes, the Legend of Acrius is worth it because it's an Exotic Heavy Shotgun that provides great damage to foes up close. |
|
Anarchy |
Arc Grenade Launcher |
Yes, Anarchy is also worth getting, as this Exotic Arc Grenade Launcher deals a great amount of passive damage by chaining Arc bolts. |
|
Tarrabah |
Solar Submachine Gun |
No, Tarrabah is not worth getting because it's an SMG that stores kinetic damage to be released, but it isn't meta, nor does it do more damage than other superior weapons. |
|
Always on Time |
Sparrow |
No, Always on Time is not worth it, as it's a Sparrow that goes the same speed as other Exotic sparrows (190 MPH), but the only advantage is that it has more health, but Sparrow encounters are so rare that it's not worth the waste of Spoils. |
