Destiny 2: Strongest Raid Bosses, Ranked In Terms of Lore
Destiny 2's best raid bosses have some incredible strengths that are only truly displayed in the lore, begging the question of who is the strongest.
Solar is one of the most beloved subclasses for a reason, and each Aspect only compliments the Super and Abilities that each class can receive, so it’s best to know which is the best to run on each class, so Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans can burn bright as a powerful Guardian.
Best Solar Warlock Aspects
Dawnblade Warlocks will enjoy the best Solar Aspects for their subclass found here:
Icarus Dash
Necessary For Well-Skating
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A golden feather, drifting in the wind. One gust carries you where you need to go.
Icarus Dash can be useful, as using a Double Press (Circle/B/Ctrl) will have players dodging whilst airborne. They can also pair it with
Heat Rises to gain an additional dodge, and during this airborne ability, they can rapidly defeat targets with Super or weapons to earn the Cure buff. However, Icarus Dash is only useful for parkour segments, and using the beloved Wellskating, which will have Warlocks shooting off like a star.
Heat Rises
Better Air Control While Shooting
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A singed tome, bound in leather with notes scratched in the margins. You hold immeasurable knowledge of the approaching dawn.
Destiny 2: Best Raid Exotics, Ranked
Destiny 2's best exotics come through as rewards within their challenging raids.
Whilst gliding, players can fire weapons, melee, and throw grenades, but they will first need a grenade to consume to activate Heat Rises. Upon activation, players will receive the Cure buff for themselves and allies, and final blows during this airborne period will increase the duration of Heat Rises and provide melee energy, which in turn can create some truly powerful stacks with the right Exotics. However, players will be rather vulnerable in the air.
Touch of Flame
Increase The Effectiveness Of Warlock Grenades
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A radiant cinder, still crackling as you hold it. With it, you could set the world aflame.
Healing, Solar, Firebolt, and Fusion Grenades have better functionality, all of which can be found below:
-
Healing Grenade: Improves the strength of cure and restoration effects applied. Consuming a Healing Grenade with Heat Rises also applies restoration to nearby allies.
-
Solar Grenade: Increases lingering duration. Periodically emits blobs of lava around its perimeter.
-
Firebolt Grenade: Increases target search radius and maximum target count.
-
Fusion Grenade
e: Explodes twice.
The additional advantages of using these grenades are definitely worth it, especially the Healing Grenade bonuses, as Restoration has been nothing but a blessing in Season 23, where players can keep their Restoration going to restore health at a constant rate.
Best Solar Hunter Aspects
Gunslingers need these Solar Aspects if they’re to be quick on the draw against the Witness:
Knock ‘Em Down
Increase The Effectiveness Of Supers
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A scorched shell casing smelling of gunpowder, somehow still warm to the touch. You flash, brilliant, in dark times.
The Solar Supers of the Hunter are enhanced with Knock ‘Em Down, allowing the Deadshot Golden Gun to have more damage resistance, so players can tank more shots whilst trying to time their own. Marskman Golden Gun also has increased duration, so players who need to time that precision shot aren’t under pressure. Lastly,
Blade Barrage launches more projectiles, which means even more damage. If players use Knock ‘Em Down whilst radiant, their equipped Throwing Knife final blows will refund melee energy.
On Your Mark
Increase Weapon Handling & Reload Speed With Precision Kills
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A leather holster, well-worn. You were always quicker on the draw.
The true cowboys out there will enjoy On Your Mark, which gives players increased weapon handling and reload speed for a short duration when they hit those precision final blows. This can stack three times, and players can have a great way of reloading, making sure they have plenty of bullets for their enemies. If players were to use their class ability, then they receive max stacks for On Your Mark without the need of precision kills.
Gunpowder Gamble
Earn A Powerful Solar Grenade With Every 5 Kills
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A book of matches, just one left. Light ‘em up.
10 Best Destiny Villains, Ranked
Some of the best Destiny villains have different goals but are all extremely memorable for a reason.
Sometimes, one grenade just won’t do, and Gunpowder Gamble is the perfect response to that. If players get 5 kills with Solar abilities, debuffs, or Solar weapons, then they can charge up the
Gunpowder Gamble grenade, which can be thrown like a normal grenade but shot in mid-air to cause ignition and other powerful buffs. It’s great for keeping enemies down and out for the count, so long as players don’t accidentally shoot this highly powerful explosive too close, as it can, and will, kill.
Best Solar Titan Aspects
Sunbreakers are greatly powerful in Solar thanks to these Aspects:
Consecration
Create Powerful Charged Melee Attacks
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
The pommel stone of a battle-scarred war hammer, radiant with an inner fire. You reclaim this once-hallowed ground.
Activating a charged melee ability whilst sliding will send forth a wave of Solar energy, which damages and Scorches targets within the path as players leap back to the air. This can also be activated whilst airborne, to slam into the ground and create a second and larger wave of Solar energy. Scorched targets are Ignited, and death is assured, but pulling it off can be rather tricky, and there are alternate uses for a charged melee that will keep healing going, so
Consecration isn’t the best.
Roaring Flames
Increase Solar Damage With Solar Ability Kills
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A shard of obsidian, brimming with the light of day. Eons will pass before you fade.
Final blows with Solar abilities or Ignitions will increase the damage for Solar abilities. This can stack up to 3 times, allowing players to change the game with their melee abilities and grenades truly. Powerful enemies and adds won’t stand a chance, especially if players use throwing hammers which can be recovered, and constantly build up Solar ability charge to decimate the competition.
Sol Invictus
Create Sunspots With Solar Abilities
- Fragment Slots (2)
- How To Get: Spend 5,000 Glimmer At Ikora Rey in The Tower.
A golden medallion emblazoned with the symbol of a hammer, weighing heavy around your neck. Your inferno starts with a single flicker.
Solar ability final blows,
Hammer of Sol impacts, and Scorched target final blows, all create Sunspots. Inside these Sunspots, players can recharge their abilities, and their Supers will drain slower. Even better still, Sunspots can apply Scorch and burn targets who stand inside, all whilst players stay within to gain Restoration.
Sol Invictus is great for players who love to use their Solar abilities, especially Hammer of Sol, as throwing things for fire explosions and healing is going to keep the team alive and clear out adds with ease.
