This is great for keeping the team concealed to have a breather, and the fact it can Weaken targets really helps provide the team with more damage outputs, when they’re not using Invisibility that is.

Whilst having an Overshield or inside the Ward of Dawn Super, grenades charge faster and melee range and damage is increased. Players can also expect their melee final blows to extend the duration of their Overshield. Whilst it’s a great Aspect in its own right, it’s still fairly risky, as it requires plenty of melee focus, but the use of Void grenades inside the safety of a Ward of Dawn is very nice indeed but leaves players pinned down in one spot.

Hitting a target with a Void ability or Volatile explosion will make them volatile. Extended damage to volatile targets can cause them to explode, which will grant players and their allies health. Volatile is a great trait to follow, as the unstable Void energy deals great damage to nearby enemies, and they can pierce Barrier Champion shields to stun them. Plus, the additional health surge is nice.

When casting a Barricade, players will empower the shield, allowing it to regenerate the Overshield of allies and players alike who are hiding behind it, and extending its duration. Bastion is great for PvP, as dominating an area with Overshields will cause opposing teams to run, and the increased shield in PvE can easily save other players from certain death.
