One creative member of the Destiny 2 community online has shared their creation of an outfit inspired by Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077, including the armor and shaders used so that other fans can recreate the look for themselves. Destiny 2's expansive range of cosmetic options has allowed players to base their Guardians' looks on countless other characters from all sorts of franchises over the years, but more importantly, they make it easy for every player to customize their Guardians to make them feel uniquely their own.
Players have shared similar amusing outfits in the past, with fans often discovering clever ways to utilize certain unusual armor pieces to dress their Guardians up as just about anyone from Shrek to Star Wars' Admiral Ackbar. Some players have even gone beyond fictional characters and customized their Guardians to look like real-world celebrities, with one Destiny 2 fan fine-tuning their Guardian to look like Gordon Ramsay.

A popular custom outfit recently shared by the fan known as Shy_8 is based on Johnny Silverhand's iconic appearance from Cyberpunk 2077. This outfit captures just about every part of the rockerboy's appearance - yes, including his defining cybernetic silver arm, which this Destiny 2 player managed to recreate as closely as they could in the game using the exotic Augmented Auspice gauntlets paired with the Ensilvered Snare shader. They also used the Superblack shader with the Extinction Orbit ornament for the chest piece and Obsidian Durasteel Titan mark to recreate Johnny's bulletproof vest, and used the Gamekeeper shader with the Ringwalker Greaves to capture the look of his leather pants - though any Hunters trying to recreate the Silverhand look should use the Lucky Pants exotic to recreate the character's lower half almost perfectly.

This Destiny 2 outfit also features a helmet despite Johnny wearing nothing on his face aside from his aviator sunglasses, but this ultimately might be the right call. Even more than a decade after Destiny 2's launch, the game's actual character face customization options are pretty shallow, and many players feel like their Guardians look much better in-game with their helmets on at all times.
With Destiny 2's fantastic Final Shape era and ensuing episodes having finally drawn to a close, the game is just a matter of days away from kicking off a new chapter with its upcoming Edge of Fate expansion, which will throw players into a wild new story that may be a bit of a far cry from what they're used to in the Destiny 2 universe. Many of the game's fundamental components - such as UI, character stats, power levels, and more - are due for a bit of an overhaul as Destiny 2 enters a brave new saga, and with plenty of new content set to arrive throughout 2025 and beyond, fashion enthusiasts should look forward to loads more armor pieces and shaders that will help them craft even more new outfits going forward.
