How to Get Deathmarks in Destiny 2

Deathmarks can be obtained by completing Contracts within the Lawless Frontier. Deathmarks are not guaranteed rewards from Contracts, but there is a higher chance of getting Deathmarks by completing Invasions in the Lawless Frontier. However, to do an Invasion, you are going to have to spend a Deathmark in the hopes of making one or multiple. Deathmarks don't seem to be tied to how successful you are in your Invasion or in your Contract, but it never hurts to try your hardest to get the most optimal rewards if you wager more Deathmarks.

When trying to farm Deathmarks, you should be actively looking for Lawless Frontier activities on Master and Grandmaster difficulty, marked on the Holomap as invadable with a yellow icon. Any Lawless Frontier activity where an invader can join will have a higher chance of rewarding Deathmarks.

You can also get weekly Deathmarks from Spider at the Tharsis Outpost.
