In-game fashion has been a growing subculture in Destiny 2 for a while now. As Bungie has added more cosmetic items for players to use, the possibility to recreate favorite characters from other franchises has increased. It's always interesting to see how creative players can be, and with more cosmetics still being added to Destiny 2, there's no sign of this scene slowing down any time soon.

A creative Destiny 2 player transforms their Titan into Samus Aran, and impresses other players with their version of the Metroid protagonist.

After Marathon's recent gameplay reveal, many gamers have taken to Reddit to showcase their recreations of the game's Runners. Three of the four playable Runners, Glitch, Locus, and Blackbird, were created by user JaxiPup, while the final Runner, Void, was brought to life by a user called iixVanquishxX. All four creations are extremely cool and do a great job of capturing the vibe of each Marathon character. Some even suggested that a Destiny 2 and Marathon collaboration would be a great addition, and considering Bungie is the developer of both, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Destiny 2 Players Show What a Marathon Collab Could Look Like

Both posts included all the Destiny 2 ornaments and armor pieces that players need to use in order to recreate these Marathon Runners for themselves. The speed at which these have been created is already very impressive, and it's possible that others may iterate further on them as more time passes.

Despite being almost eight years old at this point, Bungie continues to release new Destiny 2 updates with fresh content for players to enjoy. More expansions for the game are planned in the future, confirming that Bungie isn't set to abandon the game any time soon. There has yet to be any news on a Destiny 2 sequel yet, with Bungie remaining tight-lipped about the overall future of the franchise.
