Destiny 2 prepares itself for its biggest crossover yet with a fully fledged expansion inspired by the Star Wars universe set to debut in December 2025. While the expansion is Star Wars- themed and not actually in the Star Wars world, players can expect to obtain lightsabers and the iconic DL-44 blaster. However, those who are too giddy to wait for their Star Wars goodies in Destiny 2 can get 3 Star Wars x Destiny 2 outfits right now.
Destiny 2: All Rite of the Nine Rewards & How to Get Them
Rite of the Nine is essentially a prologue to Destiny 2's next expansion, but it is also an opportunity for players to get some great loot.
The wait for Destiny 2: Renegades might be long, but the ability to run around as a Titan Darth Vader, or a Hunter General Grievous, and a Warlock Kylo Ren is something that players can do right now as soon as they log in, and here's how.
How to Get Star Wars Skins Early in Destiny 2
Players will get the Dark Side Legends Bundle, containing 3 full armor ornament sets for General Grievous, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren, when they pre-order Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition on their chosen platform. If players pre-order Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition for $99.99, they will obtain Star Wars armor ornament sets, 1 for each class.
These Star Wars skins will be available to unlock instantly once they have purchased Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition. In order to claim these skins, venture into The Tower in-game, and head to the Special Deliveries Terminal, found to the left of the Cryptarch. From this terminal, players will be able to claim the ornament boxes for each character, which can then be opened and unlocked from within the inventory screen.

Each Class receives its own Star Wars set that players can use, and listed above is a detailed showcase of each of the skins players will get once they purchase Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition. While the ornaments work the same as the rest, and are merely cosmetic based, it's worth noting that the Darth Vader set for Titans has a special interaction that gives Titans a cape in Destiny 2 if they use the Obsidian Durasteel Mark and Obsidian Durasteel Plate together.
