Similarly to Vesper's Host, the class item is tied to the dungeon quest, The Drowning Labyrinth. Find the worms and secret chambers around the dungeon to open the final vault, where you can get a class item and learn more about what the Dread have been doing in this Pyramid.

Legendary weapons from the Sundered Doctrine have one of the best Origin Traits in the game---Subjugation. When attacking weak targets (like red bars), the shots explode. When attacking strong targets, they become exhausted and deal less damage. When attacking Guardians, it increases the weapon's flinch resistance. For PvE, Subjugation grants a budget version of Explosive Payload, allowing you to double-down, and in some cases, triple-down, on damage perks.

The Exotic from this dungeon is the Finality's Auger Solar linear fusion rifle. While it's not a meta-defining weapon, it has a unique mechanic that deploys an autonomous Resonance turret. You can then mark targets for the turret to shoot using an alternate firing mode.

All the Legendary weapons from the Sundered Doctrine are incredibly strong thanks to the Origin Trait. Unworthy is an Arc scout rifle that can roll Firefly with Rolling Storm, Paracausal Affinity, or Voltshot. Unloved is a Strand hand cannon that can also get double damage perks with Dragonfly and Paracausal Affinity. This dungeon has one of the best loot pools, especially for PvE, so farm it while you can.

How to Farm Sundered Doctrine in Destiny 2

Until a new dungeon comes out, you can farm Sundered Doctrine without any restrictions. The exception is the Finality's Auger, whose drop chance is limited to one per character per week. This means you have at most three attempts per week to get the Exotic. When Destiny 2 introduces another dungeon, Sundered Doctrine will join the rest of the dungeons in the weekly rotation.
