How to Get Whisper of the Worm
Whisper of the Worm used to be obtainable from the Monument of the Lost Light in the Tower when The Whisper mission was originally sunset. However, the Into the Light update has brought this mission back and players can obtain this Exotic by completing The Whisper mission on normal or Legendary difficulty.
However, to unlock perks to put on the crafted version of Whisper of the Worm and to unlock its catalyst, players must complete the Exotic mission on Legendary difficulty. About 4 Legendary runs of The Whisper mission are required for Whisper of the Worm to be fully customizable.
Whisper of the Worm Overview
Whisper of the Worm is a Solar Heavy Ammo Sniper Rifle that comes with the Exotic Intrinsic Trait called “White Nail.” It allows the weapon to get higher base precision damage. Rapidly landing three precision hits will refill the magazine. This allows Whisper of the Worm to do sustained heavy damage to bosses without reloading.
Whisper of the Worm also has an Exotic Catalyst called Whispered Breathing. What this does is aiming this weapon without firing for a brief moment grants bonus Range and precision damage while this weapon is zoomed. It is essential to have the Catalyst unlocked to bring the maximum damage.

Whisper of the Worm Perks
With Whisper of the Worm being Craftable, it has now gotten brand-new perks instead of only having one perk in the original version. It is now able to roll with:
- Field Prep: Increased ammo reserves. Faster Reload, ready, and stow speed when players are crouching.
- No Distractions: Aiming this weapon for a short while reduces flinch.
- Enlightened Action: Dealing damage improves Reload Speed and Handling.
- Mulligan: Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.
Whisper of the Worm God Roll
