Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. The final few days of the Solstice Event in Destiny 2 have arrived, with players having a limited time to unlock any of the exclusive rewards and gear, like the beach-themed armor, earning the full Lustrous set, and finding the perfect roll for the Fortunate Star, Festival Flight, or Yeartide Apex weapons.
In addition to frequent Destiny 2 updates, Bungie continues to look towards the future, specifically with player buildcrafting. Recently, Bungie teased some of its upcoming plans inside of the Ash & Iron update set for September, which brings with it a major update. Specifically, Bungie plans to tune abilities and aspects for Warlocks to offer players more variety when playing by buffing Threadlings, Weavewalk, Frostpulse, and more.
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: New Activities, Challenges, and Rewards
The weekly reset for Destiny 2 is live and here are all of the new details including activity rotations, seasonal challenges, and much more.
For now, the weekend merchant Xur is back with a new inventory of gear for Destiny 2 players. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he's brought for the weekend of August 15, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there's no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley is to the right, where Xur is standing.
Destiny 2 Class Armor
Starting with the Edge of Fate expansion, Xur's role in the Tower has expanded a bit. While Xur no longer carries legendary armor, the merchant has increased his exotic offering by selling two pieces of gear for each class each week. Xur's new Destiny 2 inventory can still be found at the Tower Bazaar.
