Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Another weekend rolls forward, meaning players are getting ever close to Destiny 2's upcoming Edge of Fate expansion. The company continues to reveal new details about the upcoming content, seemingly marking a new phase of the popular online shooter's lifecycle as well.
Already, Bungie has detailed numerous changes coming to the core experience, including playlist changes that sees Iron Banner and Gambit going on hiatus for a little bit. The Edge of Fate is also overhauling Destiny 2's armor system, adding in tiers and set bonuses to really push the buildcrafting opportunities. Just recently, Bungie also highlighted upcoming weapon and exotic changes as well.
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: New Activities, Challenges, and Rewards
The weekly reset for Destiny 2 is live and here are all of the new details including activity rotations, seasonal challenges, and much more.
For now though, the exotic merchant Xur has returned with a new inventory of gear for Destiny 2 players. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he's brought for the weekend of June 20, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Xur has taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there's no more hunting needed when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are hanging out and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley hiding Xur is to the right.
Destiny 2 Exotic Class Armor
Xur's role has continued to expand and evolve over the years. Alongside The Final Shape expansion, Xur's inventory in Destiny 2 expanded even more, moving back to Strange Coins as the currency of choice and featuring rank rewards, resources, and, of course, armor and weapons.

Planetary Torrent
- Rifts periodically release Arc shockwaves. Final blows with these shockwaves create an Arc explosion. While an Arc Super is equipped, the shockwaves and subsequent explosions blind nearby targets. Rift energy recharges faster when you are surrounded by targets.
While it may have the highest total roll this week, this isn't a must-have exotic for Warlock players.

Hawkeye Hack
- Precision final blows reduce the cooldown of your Super. Modifies Golden Gun to fire a single, high-damage shot. Targets defeated by that shot give you Super energy and explode.
This is a highly valuable exotic for outputting major damage with the Golden Gun super. Definitely worth buying for those that don't yet have one.

Sunfire Furnace
- Solar final blows while standing in a Sunspot create a Sunspot. Greatly improves recharge rate of your melee and grenade while your Solar Super is charged. Provides a small benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
While this wouldn't normally be an exotic to pick up, especially considering that the mobility stat is too high, that fact could be why it may be worth looking into this week. Remember, stats are changing when Edge of Fate launches, which means Mobility will be turning into Weapons, so this may be worth looking at to stash for now.
