Summary
- Xur is back in Destiny 2 with new gear for players to explore for a limited time.

- Xur's exotic weapons include a new Hawkmoon, The Wardcliff Coil, Crimson, and Tractor Cannon.
Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Players are approaching the final week of Guardian Games for Destiny 2 of 2025. According to Bungie, Titans are in the lead with 6 wins, Hunters in second with 3, and Warlocks have yet to make a mark and are stuck at 0 to this point.
Alongside Guardian Games, Bungie continues to make adjustments to the core gameplay experience as the studio released another new update for Destiny 2. This patch made adjustments to Competitive point gains and losses, while also closing the loop on an issue where the double loot modifier in Trials of Osiris would be applied twice for post-game Adept weapon drops. The patch also made fixes to Radiant Dance Machines, Barrow Dyad, Slayer's Fang, and more.
Destiny 2: All Guardian Games Weapons, Ranked
A number of unique weapons are available during Destiny 2's Guardian Games event, but how do they rank up in terms of power and utility?
The daily reset on Friday also means it's time for the exotic merchant Xur, who has returned with a new inventory of gear for Destiny 2 players. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he's brought for the weekend of March 21, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there's no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are hanging out and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley hiding Xur is to the right.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur's role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they're necessary to acquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur's Exotic Armor
Sanguine Alchemy - Warlock chest armor
Exotic Perk:
-
Blood Magic
- While standing in any rift, damaging a target will mark it. You deal extra damage to marked targets, and gain additional bonus damage with weapons that have a damage type matching your equipped Super. Weapon final blows while standing in any rift pause the rift's countdown, extending its duration.
After a couple of poor weeks, the Sanguine Alchemy clocks in with the highest stat roll of the three exotic armor pieces this weekend. Unfortunately, this exotic isn't exactly a top armor piece for Warlocks, so even though the roll is nice, it's not something that is required.
Stat Values (68 Total):
- Mobility +9
- Resilience +11
- Recovery +15
- Discipline +20
- Intellect +2
- Strength +11
Graviton Forfeit - Hunter helmet
Exotic Perk:
-
Vanishing Shadow
- Increases the duration of any invisibility effects. While you are invisible, your melee recharges faster, your weapons reload faster, and your Recovery is greatly increased.
An essential piece to many Void and Invisible builds for Hunters, the 67 stat roll this week is more than worthy of a purchase for those who don't have it or need a stronger stat distribution.
Stat Values (67 Total):
- Mobility +21
- Resilience +2
- Recovery +12
- Discipline +12
- Intellect +14
- Strength +6
ACD/0 Feedback Fence - Titan gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
-
Fury Conductors
- Melee hits grant Armor Charge, and you take less melee damage while you have Armor Charge. Taking melee damage causes you to emit a burst of damaging Arc energy that Jolts targets, consuming your Armor Charge and dealing more damage based on the number of stacks consumed.
A spikey roll this week for Titans, with extremely high Discipline and Resilience for an item that seems to be geared more for PvP activities than PvE. While it's certainly viable for PvE, there are much better options.
Stat Values (65 total):
- Mobility +10
- Resilience +22
- Recovery +2
- Discipline +23
- Intellect +2
- Strength +6
