Destiny Rising is drawing some attention among mobile gamers, and for those who wish to enjoy this game (even if they are using an Emulator to run it), they should know a little about how the game works and the things they should do when they first arrive in the game.

Since the game can be a little overwhelming, with all those menus, sweeping interface, combined with the classic D2 HuD, and tons of activities hidden among the many tabs, players should first learn the basics of how to start activities, how to collect loot and rewards, and how to equip their characters. By reading this guide, players will learn the ropes faster, and will be able to enjoy the game in a lighter mood.

How to Switch Between First And Third Person in Destiny Rising

Destiny: Rising allows players to play in Third Person or First Person cameras, and to switch between them, players need to hit the small button in the right corner of the screen that says (FP)/(TP).

Players enjoying the game in Emulators need to press the 'T' button on their keyboards to switch between these two perspectives. Both perspectives are great, but third-person grants a lot of advantages during PvP activities like the Iron Bar, since players can more or less see through corners and know when enemies are about to enter the field of view.

Familiarize Yourselves With The New Interface

Destiny Rising Gacha Character

This is a piece of advice for Destiny and Destiny 2 veterans, since Destiny Rising is a very different game in terms of HuD distribution and loot mechanics. It has its similarities, but overall, the interface of Destiny Rising is more suited for a mobile game, and thus has a lot more tabs, menus, and things to tweak until players know everything there is to know about how to start activities, collect rewards, and equip their characters.

Players should also know that Wolf will be the first of the Guardians players will unlock, and the more they unlock, the more buildcraft options they will get. Another important detail about this is that Weapons are only good for certain characters. For example, Wolf can only equip Assault Rifles and Heavy Grenade Launchers, while Ikora can only use Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers. Each character has its own unique abilities, Exotics they can equip, and progression menus.

Character Menu Destiny Rising

The Character menú should be their first priority, since this will be the place where they can change their currently available guardian as well as their weapons, abilities, and everything related to builds. So, step one would be to check out how it works, and try a few characters once they have unlocked them.

Visit Heaven Residents, And Start Collecting Rewards

Destiny Rising PvPvE mode

Once players have some free rein over what they can do (which happens around chapter 1.2, when the introductory quest is concluded), they will be able to visit some of the characters lurking around Haven, and some of them will grant them secondary objectives (or Missions) while others unlock more activities like the PvPvE Warp Gate (some sort of Gambit), and new Story Missions players need to complete to earn more rewards and unlock locations.

It is important for players to follow up the main quest, but at the same time, unlock as many secondary missions and objectives as they can, so that they can collect Lumia Leaves to pull some of the strongest characters later.

Complete Tutorials, Trainings, and Strikes to get More Rewards

Destiny Rising Strike Squad

On that note, Tutorials Missions, and Training Objectives are a good way to earn more rewards (Lumia included), which will help players snowball faster when they reach a certain Team Level and unlock more difficult activities.

Exotic and Mythic weapons are some of the unlockables that players will be able to access once they get enough Team Level. The Handbook tab is the best companion for free-to-play players, since it has tons of rewards that can be translated into more free pulls from the Gacha System.

Learn About The Gacha System And How To Get New Guardians

Destiny Rising Gwynn Gacha System

One of the Man Story Missions will lead players to meet the Titan Kabr in the Bad Old Time, and while around, they will also be able to meet an old acquaintance from Destiny 2 (The Drifter, also known as Wu Ming). Kabr will lead the way for Wolf to learn the ropes of the Gacha System by interacting with Heaven's specialty goods vendor named Pandora-7.

The first pull is free, then players will have to acquire more Bon Voyage Charms (the Gacha Coin) by spending Lumia Leaves or Silver Dust. Lumia Leaves can be acquired or farmed inside the game, while Silver Dust is the premium purchasable currency. The first three pulls from the regular Gacha will cost 8xCharms; after that, they will cost 10 each. There are also Bon Voyage Charms L.E. Which are even more expensive and can be used to draw the featured Legendary Guardians (5-Star ones).

Follow Up on The Main Story Chapters, And Unlock Ikora

Destiny Rising Ikora

There's even more freebies to unlock, and one of them is the Guardian Ikora Rey, which can be obtained if players follow up with the main story and continue to help the residents of Jiangshi Metro during Chapter 1.2 - 1.3. Once players unlock Ikora, they will have a complete Warlock, Titan, and Hunter team, which is also Void, Arc, and Solar, respectively.

Visit Locations And Find More Lumia Leaves By Completing Objectives

Location Exploration Destiny Rising

Locations have a lot of unlockables that grant Lumia Leaves, like Golden Age Chests, Fallen Drones, and Points of Interest to visit and take a snapshot. Each time players find one of these locations, puzzles, or chests, they will receive a reward in the form of Lumia Leaves, and this will help them save enough for a 10x Draw in the Gacha System. If players are lucky, they will be able to obtain Gwynn, the Scythe-wielding Void Warlock.
