Destiny: Rising is all set to officially launch globally on August 28, 2025. This new entry in the Destiny franchise will be available for download on iOS and Android devices, bringing the Destiny universe to the palm of your hand.
The release will be a staggered launch across different regions, with servers going live at 9:00 AM local time on August 28. Here are the launch times:

To make sure everyone has a smooth day-one experience, NetEase has also enabled pre-downloads starting on August 27 at 6 AM PT. This way players can jump in as soon as the servers go live.
The best part is, Destiny: Rising features full cross-play between all mobile platforms. So, you and your friends can play together seamlessly, whether you’re on iOS or Android.
While you can play with friends on a different mobile operating system, you will not be able to team up with players from different regional servers. At the time of writing, cross-server play is not available.
Destiny: Rising Gameplay Details
At launch, Destiny Rising players can expect original storylines set across various destinations and campaigns. The game will feature both PvE and PvP modes, allowing for competitive and cooperative play, and will also bring back the fan-favorite Sparrow racing for a fast-paced thrill.
Combat is being enhanced with the ability to dual-wield weapons for added variety, and players will be able to get their hands on exotic weapons like the Huckleberry and Izanagi's Burden. To top it all off, the game will offer the flexibility to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives, catering to different playstyles.
