There's no shortage of fun builds for the Barbarian class in Diablo 4, and if you're looking for something fresh that doesn't use the common leveling paths for this class, then this Season 10 build is for you.
With this Barbarian leveling build, you'll be dashing through maps while slapping everything with your dual-wield weapons, all while face-tanking things that would normally kill other Diablo 4 classes instantly. It's an incredibly fun and easy build to use, and with a few adjustments and some pieces of Unique gear, you can take it all the way to end of the Torment and Pit tiers.
Diablo 4: Best Sorcerer Leveling Build for Season 10
Zap your way through Diablo 4 Season 10 with this unlimited power Crackling Energy Sorcerer build using Lightning Spear and Chain Lightning.
Best Frenzy Leveling Build in Diablo 4 Season 10
Normally, using only Frenzy won't get you far. However, with the Dual Threat Chaos Perk featured in Season 10, you can hit enemies with multiple Basic Skills in a single attack. With that being said, this build will only go online once you unlock Dual Threat, so before that point, we recommend using Frenzy with Upheaval first. Once you do unlock that specific Chaos Power, adjust your build according to the following:

Power War Cry (5/5) |
Your main steroid and source of Berserking. |
|
Supreme Wrath of the Berserker (1/5) |
Another massive steroid that stacks on top of War Cry's buffs. Use |
To play this Diablo 4 Barbarian leveling build, all you really need to do is hold down your Frenzy button. The only time you're going to press anything else is when you need to use Wrath of the Berserker. Early on, you'll still need to manually cast your Shouts, but once you get the Deafening Chorus Chaos Power, you won't ever need to bother with them again. It feels a lot like playing as a Spiritborn or Werewolf Druid.

Unconstrained
Unconstrained is the preferred Capstone skill for this build. You will always be Berserk, and since you'll neither be spending Fury nor will you be swapping weapons, there's not much point taking anything else.
Arsenal Bonuses
You'll want to use 1H Swords for this Barbarian leveling build since Frenzy's attack speed can take good advantage of crits. For your level 15 Expertise slot, use Polearm for extra Lucky Hit Chance. This works nicely with one of the Chaos Powers below as well as any Lucky Hit effect on your gear. The Rank 10 Polearm bonus also lets you deal more damage while you're Healthy.
Equip a Polearm as your Slashing Weapon, then use Lunging Strike to level up your Expertise with it. Always use an Arsenal Expertise bonus that's different from the weapons you are currently wielding.
Chaos Powers
Dual Threat and Deafening Chorus are the core parts of this build. Without them, everything just wouldn't work. We strongly recommend playing on Normal difficulty and sticking with Frenzy and Upheaval until you get Dual Threat, then farm Viz-Jaq'taar Veneration in Diablo 4 until you can get Deafening Chorus. When you combine the latter with all three Barbarian Shouts, you'll get the following benefits:
- You are always Berserking.
- You always have a damage boost on top of being Berserk.
- You are always Fortified.
- You are permanently Unstoppable.
- You permanently have ~66% damage reduction.
- You Taunt all enemies around you every second.
Add Accelerating Chaos so you can reduce Wrath of the Berserker's cooldown on Lucky Hits, and once you hit Torment 1, get Chaos Unleashed so you can make even more Chaotic Bursts.
Gear and Stat Priorities
As a basic attack build, you'll want to prioritize stats that mainly boost the effectiveness of Frenzy. Look out for gear with the following stats, and don't forget to Temper your items as well:
- Basic Skill Damage
- Physical Damage
- Critical Strike Chance
- Critical Strike Damage
- Attack Speed
- Damage
- Lucky Hit: Chance to Restore Life on Hit
- Defenses (Armor, Life, Resistances)
- Movement Speed
Stacking Basic Skill Damage will let you bulldoze through Penitent difficulty without breaking a sweat. However, once you reach Torment, you'll want to pivot toward Critical Strike Damage.
Since Frenzy only uses your Dual Wield weapons, you'll want to prioritize upgrading your 1H weapons as you're gearing up. You don't need to swap out your 2H weapons as often, which means you can get good value out of imprinted Aspects from them.

Out of all these Legendary Aspects, all you need to make this Diablo 4 Barbarian leveling build work are Moonrise and Devilish. The rest can be replaced with whatever else you prefer, and on Torment 1 difficulty, you can replace many of these items with Uniques. Some Unique items to look out for include:
-
Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty
-
Shard of Verathiel
-
Ramaladni's Magnum Opus
-
Battle Trance
-
Tibault's Will
-
Tassets of the Dawning Sky
-
Fists of Fate
- Hooves of the Mountain God
Getting these items will drastically change the build, and at that point, you'll want to transition to an endgame version. For that, we recommend increasing your Maximum Fury and dropping War Cry for Flay.
Devilish Aspect is your main source of AoE damage for this build, and it is also the reason why you want to take Fury Generation passives.
Paragon Boards for Diablo 4 Frenzy Barbarian Leveling Builds
The build will use most of the same Paragon Boards that Berserking builds use. Of course, we'll also be picking ones that increase attack speed and crit stats as well as anything that boosts 1H weapon damage. Consider using the following:
- Starting Board with Ambidextrous
- Blood Rage with Exploit
- Carnage with Ire
- Flawless Technique with Territorial
These can all be adjusted based on what you need, and as always, plan your Paragon Board paths so you can take Rare Nodes that benefit your build.
