With Diablo 4's Season 11 PTR now up and running until October 28, it's beginning to feel like Season 10 is entering the sunsetting phase. Diablo 4 Season 10 has undoubtedly been one of the best seasons the game has ever seen, so it will be a sad day for fans when it ends and mechanics like Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks disappear. With the end of Season 10, Diablo 4 players will also lose out on the free cosmetic items that can be earned via the season journey and reliquaries, including the new pet, Pandora the Fox.
Diablo 4 introduced pets in Season 4 as a part to overhaul loot collection mechanics. Having a pet active is not just a cosmetic bonus for Diablo 4 players, but comes with the utility of automatically collecting certain drops like Gold, Gem Fragments, and other resources. Earning Pandora the Fox allows players to claim one of the few free pets in the game while also ensuring they have an adorable way to pick up valuable resources without having to think about them.
Diablo 4 Players Can Only Earn Pandora the Fox Pet During Season 10
Although there are numerous pets players can obtain in Diablo 4, only a handful are available for free. Most Diablo 4 pets have been locked behind Premium Battle Passes or need to be purchased with Platinum from Tejal's Shop. However, the past few season have given players an opportunity to earn a companion pet for free simply by following the season journey:
- Diablo 4 Season 7 – Dorian the Raven
- Diablo 4 Season 8 – Iris the Cat
- Diablo 4 Season 9 – Dante the Dog
- Diablo 4 Season 10 – Pandora the Fox
How to Earn Pandora the Fox in Diablo 4 Season 10
In order to unlock Pandora the Fox as a pet in Diablo 4, players will need to advance the season journey and complete Chapter 6. Completing this chapter requires players to complete 5 out of the 6 objectives of the chapter:

- Reach Rank 18 at the Viz-Jaqtaar's Offering
- Salvage 5 Chaos Armor at the Blacksmith

Chaos of Hell
- Open Tortured Gift of Mysteries
- Defeat the Blood Maiden 5x
- Defeat Hellborne spawned by reaching Max Threat Level
- Locate and Close 25 Chaos Rifts

Plutonian Havoc
- Defeat Bartuc, Lord of Chaos
- Complete 6 Chaos Waves

Protecting the Realm
- Complete a World Event with Mastery
- Complete a Legion Event
- Defeat a World Boss

Live in Excess
- Craft any Jewelry Cache at the Jeweler
- Craft a Smithy Cache at the Blacksmith
- Salvage 99 Ancestral Legendary gear at the Blacksmith

Knock at the Gate of Hell
- Complete Artificer's Tier 55 or higher
- Improve a Paragon Glyph to Rank 45
Since not every one of these objectives needs to be completed to finish Diablo 4 Season 10's Chapter 6 and earn Pandora the Fox, players have the option to choose the ones that are the easiest for them to tackle. Players can make progress toward completing some of these objectives before unlocking the chapter, so it's possible they may not need to invest too much more time into finishing them once Chapter 6 becomes available.
Along with Pandora the Fox, players also earn a Mystery Greater Archetype Cache, 1120 Infernal Warp, and 3 Smoldering Ash for completing this chapter.
Diablo 4 Season 10's Free Cosmetics Are Gone After December 9
Unfortunately, Diablo 4 players won't be able to obtain Pandora the Fox as a pet after Season 10 ends. As with past pets earned from seasonal journeys, this reward is only available for a limited time. With Season 10 ending on December 9 and giving way to Season 11 on the same day, players should capitalize on the 47 days they have remaining to grind the season journey if they want to get the exclusive free pet before it's gone.
