Even though collecting herbs is far from the most essential activity in Sanctuary, neglecting this process will make your character weaker. After all, using different sets of herbs collected in various locations allows you to brew many useful potions with healing or special resistance effects. However, if you reach the late game in Diablo 4, simple potions will no longer have a decent effect, and you will have to look for Blightshade.
Thanks to this rare plant, you can brew the best healing potions for the highest-level players. For this reason, Blightshade is much more difficult to find than lower-level plants, but there are several reliable sources that you can use.

If you're looking for a powerful ring for the Barbarian class in Diablo 4, we have a good option for you. Here's how to get the Ring of the Ravenous.
Where To Find Blightshade in Diablo 4
There are four ways to get Blightshade in Diablo 4:
- Opening Herb Caches.
- Exploring the Hawezar region.
- Trading with Alchemist.
- Received as a reward for World Events.
While you should get to Hawezar as soon as possible, Herb Caches is probably the first place you can find some Blightshade. These small containers with a variety of herbs are given to players as rewards for side quests. It is worth noting that for the same activities, you can also get Salvage Caches, inside which are crafting materials.
The first method rarely rewards players with a decent amount of valuable herbs, so you should reach level 40 as soon as possible and visit the open spaces of Hawezar. Blightshade is found throughout this region, preferring dark corners or areas near small rocks. You can collect 3-5 Blightshades from each flower node, so you can quickly accumulate as many as you need.

If you are not ready to search for a long time, you can also visit Alchemist and exchange previously collected flowers for higher-level ones. Simply put, find any Alchemist, and you can trade 5 Gallowvine for 1 Blightshade. As for the location of these plants, they grow throughout Scosglen. This location is much safer, and flowers are much more common than their high-level counterparts.
Finally, if you don't plan to brew too many potions, you can farm Blightshade automatically. High-level players can participate in all World Events in the Hawezar area and sometimes receive Blightshade as a random reward. Of course, this method is the slowest, but if you complete dozens of world events daily, your inventory will be bursting with these flowers.
