The Rogue class in Diablo 4 is a versatile class that can deal ranged and melee attacks to battle the armies of Hell. Builds such as the Barrage Rogue or the Twisting Blades Rogue can become quite lethal when facing massively hard activities such as The Pit, Nightmare Dungeons, or the Infernal Hordes introduced in Season 5. That is where using Unique items that bend the game's rules in your favor becomes vital to your success.
That is where Unique items such as the Skyhunter bow could potentially become useful for your build. Getting said item type is another whole story on its own. Drop chances, activity difficulty, and many other factors could easily frustrate even the most seasoned Diablo 4 players. Today's guide will focus on how you can get the Skyhunter Unique bow by focusing on the activities that will render the best results for you.
Diablo 4: Hellbreaches Explained
Hellbreaches are a new activity added in Season 5 of Diablo 4; here's what they are and how to complete them.
How to Get Skyhunter Unique in Diablo 4
The Skyhunter Unique bow – used exclusively by the Rogue class – is one of the many Unique items introduced when Diablo 4 was released and can be obtained as simply as just opening chests in World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 – although it is a very rare drop in the grand scheme of things.
However, if you wish to increase your chances of getting the Skyhunter Unique, then you are better off taking part in endgame activities such as slaying World Bosses, beating Nightmare Dungeons, or completing Gathering Legions.
That said, thanks to the introduction of Uber Bosses in Diablo 4 Season 2, getting the Skyhunter Unique, along with many other Unique items, is even more accessible for all players. In the case of the Skyhunter, you can choose to summon and beat two specific Uber Bosses: Lord Zir, The Dark Master, and Echo of Varshan.
While you can summon Echo of Varshan starting at WT3, Lord Zir is only available at WT4. Here is a table you can use to know what materials you will need to summon both bosses and their variants:
Boss |
Location |
Materials |
|---|---|---|
Echo of Varshan (World Tier 3) |
Malignant Burrow, Hawezar |
Echo of Varshan (World Tier 4) |
Malignant Burrow, Hawezar |
Tormented Echo of Varshan |
Malignant Burrow, Hawezar |
Lord Zir |
The Ancient's Seat, Fractured Peaks |
Tormented Lord Zir |
The Ancient's Seat, Fractured Peaks |
As you can see, the Tormented version of Lord Zir and Echo of Varshan – introduced during Diablo 4 Season 4 – requires significantly harder items to summon – the Stygian Stones can be particularly troublesome – and are considerably harder to beat. However, they do have more Unique drop chances, so it is a very good source if you have a party of friends supporting you or a powerful enough character to solo the Tormented bosses.
