Out of the many Rogue builds out there in Diablo 4, there is no doubt that the Barrage builds and the Barrage skill on its own continue to be extremely popular among players who enjoy crowd control, speed, and overall high damage output. Boosting this build will be reliant on the different Aspects you collect and imprint in your adventures, but also the Unique items you can come across the many challenges in Sanctuary.
While the Umbracrux Unique Rogue dagger has become quite a popular choice among players since its introduction during the Season of the Infernal Hordes, the Windforce Unique bow remains a valid alternative for Rogues who want to boost their Barrage skill to deal an increasing amount of damage to mobs and large enemy groups. Today's guide will go through the different ways you will be able to farm the Windforce Unique bow in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4: Hellbreaches Explained
Hellbreaches are a new activity added in Season 5 of Diablo 4; here's what they are and how to complete them.
How to Get Windforce Unique in Diablo 4
To get the Windforce Unique bow, you will first have to get to World Tier 3 or World Tier 4. Recent Diablo 4 changes have made it possible for Unique items to start dropping in WT3 by opening chests and defeating enemies. Your drop chances will increase if you take part in endgame activities, such as using Nightmare Sigils to run Nightmare Dungeons or joining other players in facing World Bosses and completing Gathering Legions across Sanctuary.
Alternatively, you can increase your Unique drop chances of getting the Windforce bow by facing two specific Uber Bosses in Diablo 4: Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, and The Beast in the Ice. The Windforce Unique bow is part of both Uber Bosses' loot pools, so you might consider farming these fights a great way to get the item. You will have to collect summoning materials to fight Grigoire and The Beast, though, so check the table below so that you know what you will need to grab beforehand:
|
Boss |
Location |
Materials |
|---|---|---|
|
Grigoire (World Tier 3) |
Hall of the Penitent, Dry Steppes |
|
|
Grigoire (World Tier 4) |
Hall of the Penitent, Dry Steppes |
|
|
Tormented Grigoire |
Hall of the Penitent, Dry Steppes |
|
|
The Beast in the Ice |
Glacial Fissure, Fractured Peaks |
|
|
Tormented The Beast in the Ice |
Glacial Fissure, Fractured Peaks |
|
Tormented versions of Uber Bosses in Diablo 4 offer more drop chances for Unique item farming, so you might want to complete several The Pit runs to farm Stygian Stones since you will need them to keep facing them. Tormented Bosses will also be significantly harder than their base versions, so you should probably level up your character to the max and even bring a party of players along with you.
Windforce Unique Effect & Affixes in Diablo 4
If you use the Windforce Unique bow, your Rogue will benefit from a Barrage hit bonus, with a 30 to 50% chance to deal double damage and knock down enemies. You will also get the following effects thanks to the Windforce's Affixes:
- +[37.0 - 55.0]% Chance for Barrage Projectiles to Cast Twice
- +[2 - 4] to Barrage
- +[1 - 2] to Malice
- +[14.0 - 18.0]% Movement Speed
