Diablo 4's Season 4 is finally here, and with it, players are now able to experience a ton of seasonal content that otherwise would not be available to them. Each season comes with its own content and rewards, and Season 4 is no different.
One thing that Season 4 has added is that anyone can participate in Helltides now. Before, only players playing in World Tier 3 or above were able to access the event. However, those playing on the seasonal servers can access Helltides on any World Tier.

What Are Helltides?
Helltides are an event in the game where Lilith's remaining forces will try to take over Sanctuary by transforming an area of the map into a dark and sinister area. These events are endgame content and are pretty difficult to complete, hence why they were originally only available in World Tier 4. However, due to the seasonal content, anyone can partake in them so long as they can survive.
Helltides will drop some amazing items via chests that will help players become stronger and will allow players to take on even more endgame content during the season (like The Pit). In addition to the items that are dropped, it is also a pretty decent way to gain experience once players reach those higher levels, offering some variety in gameplay.

The Wooden Wolf quest puts players on the hunt for a missing mercenary. Here's a short guide covering everything you need in this seasonal mission.
How To Track Helltides
Helltides can easily be found on the map in the game. They spawn every hour at the beginning of the hour and usually last about 50-55 minutes, meaning that most of the time players are playing, they will be able to visit a Helltide. While tracking Helltides by looking at the map is probably the easiest way for players to do this, they can also use some external sources to keep track of the Helltides and where the chests are within the area.

- Helltides.com - This is a popular Helltide tracker that will show players where the Helltides are, where the chests are, and when/where the next Helltide will spawn. It also gives players the option to track World Bosses, which can be super useful as well.
- Diablo 4 Life - This is another tracker that will help players track all events within the game, not just Helltides. It also offers some guides on the best endgame builds for taking on these difficult events.
- WowHead - This is yet another way that players can track Helltide events and keep track of things, even if they aren't playing at that exact moment.
These are only some of the external resources that can help players keep track of Helltides. There are also certain mods (like Diablo 4 Events Tracker Overlay) that can help players track the events in-game. Overall, players will certainly want to keep these resources in mind if they want to ensure they never miss a Helltide.
