Seasonal quests focus on the main group you'll be working with that season, and help set up the new content the player will be seeing during that season. Season 5 in Diablo 4 is Season Of The Infernal Hordes and will have players working alongside some unlikely friends to drive the forces of hell out of Sanctuary.
While the seasonal quests aren't required to see a lot of what the season has to offer, the first mission will need to be completed to unlock the seasonal reward path and start farming the new major resource of the season; Mother's Gifts. Of Lambs and Wolves also has one section with a reinforced door that may give players some trouble; here's how to complete the quest.
Diablo 4: How To Get A Pet
Pets have been added to Diablo 4 and are tied to completing a simple side quest; here's how to get one.
How To Start Of Lambs And Wolves
Of Lambs and Wolves can be started whenever you reach the season content, either by finishing the main story or by skipping it when creating a new seasonal character. Once in the new season, travel to Zarbinzet, found along the bottom of the map towards the middle.
New characters who skip the main story will be able to teleport to Zarbinzet even if they haven't been there yet.
Once in town, look to the right to see Captain Cireska talking to a man named Locran. After talking with both individuals, Locarn will invite you to visit the house southwest of town.
How To Get Through The Reinforced Door In Season Of The Infernal Legion
The house isn't hard to find, but some players may find they aren't able to interact with the door. The quickest fix to this problem is teleporting back to town and coming back to the house. Players can teleport back to town right after talking to Locran, as the game needs to register that you're progressing with the quest, and teleporting makes that happen.
You'll know the quest is ready to progress when a seasonal icon appears over the door. Should this not work, make sure you exhaust all dialogue options with Locran. If this has been done, log out and log back into the game, restarting the game too, just to be safe. After doing so, players will be able to interact with the door and talk to the person behind it to gain entry in the House Of The Family.
Diablo 4 Spiritborn Class Preview: King of the Jungle
The Best War Games spends a few hours with Diablo 4's Spiritborn class, which will likely take build crafting to new heights come release.
House Of The Family Walkthrough
After entering the house for the first time, you'll meet Istel, after which Locran will come to your defense. In the next room, you'll get an explanation of what is happening during the Season, earning Mother's Gifts, and also receiving her blessings. After Istel begins the ritual for you, be prepared for two small fights as she summons two demons individually for you to kill, but these fights are easy and can be done at even level 1.
