A Diablo 4 player recently fought two Butchers at the same time during a difficult fight and managed to survive. The Butcher is one of the most feared enemies in Diablo 4 as it spawns randomly during fights and can easily kill a poorly prepared character.

Originally released in 2023, Diablo 4 recently started its fifth season. The new season adds an activity called Infernal Hordes, which pits gamers against endless demons, allowing them to earn a unique currency that can be used to purchase special items. Diablo 4’s new season also introduced a new version of the Butcher called the Burning Butcher, which is stronger than its original form.

A Diablo 4 player named Fearish has managed to find and destroy not just one but two Burning Butchers, sharing their feat with the community on the Diablo 4 subreddit. In their post, Fearish shared a screenshot taken during an Infernal Horde happening in The Abyssal Verge. The image is very chaotic, as Diablo 4 fights often are, but it’s possible to see Fearish fighting the two butchers at the same time. The player revealed that they almost died when fighting the two powerful enemies as they tried to take the screenshot during combat, but eventually, they managed to overcome these rare enemies.

Diablo 4 Player Finds Two Butchers Simultaneously And Survives

Finding the Butcher in Diablo 4 is a rare event, and some who only play the game’s main story may not see the enemy a single time during their playthrough. Seeing two of them simultaneously is likely to be an incredibly rare event, though this occurrence may be more common in the new season’s endgame, as the Infernal Horde areas essentially spawn infinite enemies. This allows characters to face a larger number of foes per minute when compared to a dungeon, for example.

While Fearish managed to best their opponents, not all gamers are so lucky. Last year, for example, one gamer tried to outmaneuver the Butcher in Diablo 4 and failed. At the time, the player tried to trick the powerful enemy by using a pillar and running around it, but was not quick enough.

Diablo 4 Season 5 has brought some nice changes to the game, but it hasn't been entirely smooth sailing. The new Diablo 4 season is having some technical issues, such as Greater Affixes not working as expected in some cases, and bugs such as invisible enemies not being properly solved. Hopefully, Blizzard is already aware of the problems and working to address them.
