Blizzard has recently announced that a Sanctuary Sitdown for Diablo 4 fans will be held on August 14. This will mark a shift in how Blizzard shares information with Diablo 4 players, who usually had access to Campfire Chat streams before a new season arrives.
Released in 2023, Diablo 4 is the latest entry in one of the most popular action RPG franchises ever made. Since then, Blizzard has continuously put out new seasons for Diablo 4, with some being more well-received than others. Diablo’s Season 10 will start on September 23, with the 2.4.0 Public Test Realm (PTR) coming out before that to allow gamers to get a taste of the new content.
Diablo 4 Season 9’s Best Rune Farming Route is Virtually Unbeatable
Diablo 4 players getting deep into Season 9 will want a reliable route for farming Runes, and one option stands above the others.
Blizzard Will Hold a Sanctuary Sitdown Q&A on August 14
Now, Blizzard has revealed that a Sanctuary Sitdown will be held on August 14 at 11 AM PT, replacing the usual Campfire Chat, which explained the changes coming to the action RPG with a Twitch livestream. In this new form, which will take place on Diablo 4’s Sanctuary Discord channel, developers Aislyn Hall, Charles Dunn, and Ben Fletcher will talk “all things Diablo 4.” It’s expected that the devs will answer the most important questions regarding the 2.4.0 PTR, including possibly its release date.
While Blizzard has not given much information about what will be covered in the event, it’s not expected that the Sanctuary Sitdown will focus on much more than the 2.4.0 PTR. Last month, Blizzard announced that Diablo 4 would not get significant updates until Season 10. The announcement disappointed some fans, but it’s understandable considering that the next season is near.
2025 has certainly been a time of major changes in Diablo 4. Earlier this month, Diablo series boss Rod Fergusson left Blizzard after around five years. During his time at Blizzard, Fergusson oversaw the launch of Diablo 4 and its Vessel of Hatred DLC, Diablo 2: Resurrected, and Diablo Immortal. It remains to be seen how this change in leadership will affect the development of the popular action game, however.
Hopefully, Season 10 will provide enough fresh content to keep Diablo 4 fans hooked on the game for the following months. It’s possible that Diablo 4’s Season 10 will have steep competition in keeping gamers engaged, though. Borderlands 4 is set to launch on September 12, and it could get some players’ attention. Apart from that, the month also has other major non-live service releases, such as Dying Light: The Beast and Silent Hill f.
