Diablo 4 players are calling for Chaos Armor to return in Season 11, following its successful debut in Season 10. Some players are worried that by removing this seasonal addition, Diablo 4 risks taking a step back in Season 11.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Barbarian with Chaos Armor

Diablo 4's Chaos Armor added new Unique items that players could wear in different slots than usual. Players could experiment with more builds than ever before, thanks to all the new powerful combinations that could be created. While some thought it was another example of power creep in Diablo 4, most welcomed the new level of buildcrafting that was possible as a result.

Diablo 4 Players Want Chaos Armor To Return in Season 11

Redditor Kal-El85 started a thread that called for Chaos Armor to stick around in Diablo 4 Season 11, making the case that "it really brings back the fun in farming" for items. One commenter agreed, pointing out that its inclusion meant "Season 10 added Item Chase and Build Diversity" while not bringing Chaos Armor back for Season 11 walks this back almost entirely. While most were in favor of keeping Chaos Armor around beyond Season 11, some did argue that having to plan future seasonal content around it could be a problem for Blizzard.

Despite what the community wants, Diablo 4's 2.5.0 PTR had no sign of Chaos Armor, which is a bad sign for a possible immediate return in Season 11. However, it's entirely possible the feature makes a return some time in the future, as Blizzard has form for reworking popular seasonal additions into the full game. Take Vampiric Powers from Season 2, for example, which would later return as Aspects. Players shouldn't hold their breath for Chaos Armor to come back any time soon, though.

The early response to Diablo 4 Season 11 has been pretty mixed. The PTR only ignited concerns about build diversity in Diablo 4 next Season, a direct issue caused by Chaos Armor's removal. Meanwhile, the Masterworking changes have not been well-received by the community either, leaving Blizzard in an interesting position between now and Season 11's expected launch on December 9. Whether it can address all the community concerns in such a short space of time remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: the build flexibility added by Chaos Armor would be more than welcome if Blizzard chose to bring it back in Diablo 4 Season 11.
