Diablo 4 just scheduled its next Developer Update Livestream for September 16 at 11 AM PT. Fans can expect to learn information about key Season 10 features, including Chaos Armor, Chaos Rifts, and the revamped Infernal Hordes, along with a new format to keep these Diablo 4 livestreams “action packed” and engaging.
Infernal Chaos, the 10th season of Diablo 4, is coming soon, with the major update currently scheduled to start September 23. Featuring tons of chaotic mechanics and revamps to existing features, this major update is expected to be the final one of its kind until the start of 2026.
One Diablo 4 Season 10 Chaos Perk is Already Rated E for Everyone
Diablo 4 players will have a mountain of Chaos Perks to choose from in Season 10, but one option seems like the perfect fit for nearly every player.
Diablo 4 Season 10 Developer Update Livestream on September 16
However, fans will soon have the chance to get a closer look at Season 10 ahead of its release. Diablo 4 just locked down September 16 as the date for its next Developer Update Livestream, which will begin at 11 AM PT. Fans can expect to get a deep dive on the season’s major features, including Chaos Armor, Chaos Rifts, and the reworked Infernal Hordes, plus a Q&A segment at the end to field questions directly to the development team.
That said, Diablo 4 is switching things up in this Developer Update Livestream in some mysterious ways. As it had mentioned previously, Diablo 4 is “trying a new format to keep things action packed,” during this broadcast, though it remains to be seen exactly what that means. Whatever this experimental format change is, Diablo 4 will be seeking to hear what fans think of it after the stream ends.
If this information is not a tempting enough reason to watch the livestream, Diablo 4 is sweetening the deal with a new Twitch Drop as well. Players who watch at least 30 minutes of any channels in the Diablo 4 category during the broadcast – even ones not tuning in to the Developer Update Livestream – will earn them the Fusillader’s Arc Bow for their Diablo 4 Rogues. Players must connect their Twitch and Battle.net accounts to earn this reward, though they do not need to own either Diablo 4 or Vessel of Hatred in order to claim it.
Season 10 will also feature Diablo 4’s second external IP collaboration in the wake of Season 8’s Berserk crossover. It is possible that Diablo 4 could reveal the nature of this collab during the livestream, though it may do so after the season drops instead. Until Blizzard officially shares which IP is coming to Sanctuary next, fans can only speculate as to what franchise will be crossing over with Diablo 4 soon.
